HOLIDAY TMR.

so,its a freaking monday where sch starts early, where the train gets really packed, where the first lecture is a freaky one on statistics.

i swear that today stats was so sleep inducing and i swear that i was trying my best to wake up and not doze off because the lecturer already warned us against doing tht because if we miss any of it, we'll be in deep shit. but i did not absorb anything during the first hour of the lecture because i was trying not to doze off and apparently while doing tht, my brain is obviously not working.

i learnt lik nothing during the economics tutorial today because the class was messy and everyone was excited abt bringing their lappy to class and not many were concentrating.
the good thing is that sch ended rather early as well. yeah yeah

so that all about my day :)

as for saturaday, i went for my first tennis lesson and its rather interesting. i managed to grasp the method on how to hit the ball properly after the coach like repeated so many times. it was rather embrassing at first because i either missed the ball if not the ball hit the net. so the coach sort of praise me infront of everyone after i managed to get it right and hit like five consective ball over the net. haha. made me feel so proud all of a sudden.

after my lesson, i met up with andrea and we proceeded over to orchard for lunch and we managed to do a little bit of shopping at Flesh Imp. apparently they were having a sale and i got one of their jacket at $20 which was a 70% cut from the original price. i also got a top there for ONLY $1o. yeah, rather worth it though. stayed around for lunch before andrea went home for a family gathering to send farouk's dad off while i went over to my papa's shop.


wherelse on sunday, i met up with binz to go to the library because i needed her help in my accounting modules. binz was so excited tht im taking accounting and apparently she loves it and was even thinking of transfering over so she could do acounting instead of biology.
i was so grossed out. HELLO, i hate accounting because i dont understand any shit abt it. whatever, debit, credit and balance sheet. i can so understand the exasperation of those who hated accounting but still had to mugged it though the O's period.

BUT, i will stil try my best because i want to excel in my course and i have to do my best for accounting if i want to do so.
btw, there is a blood donation drive in my sch and i need my mum's approval in order to do tht. my mum kind of disapprove it but i dont care, i'll forge her signature. i alway wanted to donate blood la and as if by doing tht i wil die. i dont understand why she disapprove. hummphh

okay, so lesson ends at 1pm and i have an adventure club sort of meeting coming up at 6pm. god, still have two more hrs of waiting and im so bored. Jo and Shereen are with me now and i wil be going for the adventure club, i hope it will be enticing enough so that i'll go for it.
i just collected my tenis racket and paid my tennis fees, a total of $150. i could feel my heart bleed when i pas the money over to the coach. but i dunno why i feel so happy carrying the tennis racket around and "I DO TENNIS". hehe

im in the canteen now trying to "understand" my laptop. haha, im such an IT idiot at times.

btw my main purpose for creating this post is to recommend a new song by S.H.E - 中国话
okay, i know this sounds really strange and in fact this should actually be appearing in binkiat blog and not mine. but ever since i come to know of this sound and when i heard it for the first time. it totally took my breath off and i was amazed. the lyrics is also very nice because its about chinese and how is it much widely recognized now. i have the lyrics below and i highly recommend tht ou guys go watch the MV.
haha, bet binkiat would be smirking away when he reads this. but it true, especially during the rap part. i bet they must have spend alot of time praticising it. the MV is also very cute. okay okay, i'll shall stop being the promoter for S.H.E.

PEIPEI and AMBERLICA

it has only been a week and i miss her lik shitttt.

HER = AMBER, AMBERLICA

so we met up again yesterday to go shopping, chill around and catch up on what we missed for the past ONE week. talked abit about each other's school stuff and friends. i also read out my Narrative to amber so she can correct me in it. great huh, she is a professional when it comes to presenting speech and emceeing.



we had lunch at KFC before we took the train down to Bugis. i was kind of surprised why the train wasn't packed and even when we reach Bugis, it wasnt as packed as i expected it to be. Hmmm, this is really puzzling since its Sunday and why isnt anyone out to help boost the S'pore economy.

well but nonetheless, amber and i helped to boost the economy by buying some clothes. okay to be precise, each of us got only one pants. we did not want to spend too much cuz both of us were almost broke from buying all th books.



we also had muffin from the "Teenage Cafe" and cam-whore around. i drank mineral water because i dunno why but i got a sore-throat and i've got to avoid simulating food. Amber insist on not getting a drink because she wants a Mocha Frappe. but in the end we forgot about it and poor amber went home without her Mocha Frappe(with cream).

there wasn't much at the bugis street so we headed over to Bugis Junction as i wanted to get my laptop case. but i couldnt find the shop and i forgot to take down the dimension of my laptop. GOD, how dumb of me.
i wanted to get an Adidas cap for my tennis session this week as well but i couldnt find one which i like so i've got none.



I guess somewhere along the way, my sore-throat worsen and i dunno why but i started to run a fever. it was really terrible to be far away from home and running a fever in a mall. i pratically ran to every seat i can see to take a few mins break. poor amber, i hope i did not spoil her fun.

haikel was there as well with his PSP. Being us bitches, we started to bitch again about whatever we have missed(we have not met up with andrea for two weeks). told them about my Jam and Hop thing, my tennis tryout and amber talked to us about the goldilocks girl and her Mass Communication stuff in NP. i learn a new term too - psychological noise, "its the image thats formed in yr brain about what u wan to say" if im not wrong.

thursday - 19th of April

the accounting teacher let us off early today. was supposed to have a two hr tutorial but since its the first tutorial so we had abit of introduction and she let us off. but since there was a "Jam and Hop" event at night so we went over to "Grassroots Club" for a game of pool.

still as usual, my skills were bad but i had fun with my classmates around. we played for an hr or so and then we proceeded back to NYP for dinner before we went over to the Sports Hall for the "Jam and Hop" event.
its like a mini clubbing session in the sch and at first i was kind of relunctant to dance but my friend dragged me into the crowd and so i chilled and danced along for awhile. i think i look awful la and i cant imagine how i look lik at tht moment. some ppl who lik really dances put me in awe. me and my friends stayed till 9pm before we left.

friday - 2oth of April

went to sch for a two hr lecture on accounting. abit dry and boring because i dont really understand the thing about what debit and all. i hope it will get better after a few more lessons. today was a rather boring day, after the lesson i headed home because most of my friends are meeting their others friends. while i have no one to meet in NYP.

oh btw i signed up for quite a number of CCA and im still deciding which one to join. i have kayaking, dragonboat, tennis, adventure club, judo and another fencing look alike CCA which i forgot its name on my list.
but im more interested in tennis and adventure club and i cant make up my mind on which to join. i hope i'll have a clearer view of what to expect after tmr tennis's briefing by the coach.

i bought an Acer Laptop as well on Wed and i had a really hard time bringing it home and i almost died on my way back cuz the carrying case and the laptop was like so heavy. there are still alot of configuration and activation yet to be done. im still waiting for eliza's help and i want it to be ready soon. im really frustrated when it come to these technical problem.

ok people, i gtg and pray tht the tennis session tmr is tempting so i'll join it.

im currently blogging in the school library's leisure area cum cafe. hohohohoho actually our break was supposed to start at 10am, BUT our business managment's teacher let us off earlier and thus our break start at 9. therefore our break last for 2 hrs instead of 1.



wahahaha. how i love this teacher.



anyway i had a hotdog bun and a cup of mango freeze from the cafe call "Hotshot". i tried their mocha frappe yesterday but it kind of fall below my expectation. it did not taste as good as the one from Starbuck because th the caffeine and choco taste isnt rich enoughhhh. in whole its not as good as the one from starbuck.



i came with some of my classmates and i think i kind of like them now they aren't as distant as they seems during the orientation. going to buy my lappy later and i hope my mum remember to transfer the money into my account. i bought quite a number of books already WITH MY OWN MONEY. hehe, im so proud of myself but i really dont wan to burden my parents futhur and whatmore they are paying for my lappy.

had my effective oral communication lesson first thing in the morning yesterday and i sort of like the subject. the teacher is rather cool and there is no exam for this module except for ICA. attended economics class and though it is a little boring but i think the subject is rather fun. the worst module so far should be the IT class which we are attending. im such an IT idiot and yet im lik learning what URL, HTML, DHL. just kill me and the first ICA for this module is like next week. Bless me, ppl. and i seriously dont understand why im doing this since im in the business school.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.

i dont know why but the train isnt really packed like what the rest claim. it only get abit more crampy at yishun. but today i understand how it is like to be rushing to catch the train. i was like passing by the newspaper stand and people were like rushing. then when i glimpse up at the screen and it reads 1mins for the train to arrive to marina. i dunno why but i started to walk faster as well because i dont want to miss the train.


attended the first lecture this morning and its on Statistical Methods for Business. these two hrs lecture is really disgusting and im still trying to grasp what the lecture said. whatmore the statistic that we are learning now is no longer like drawing graph and all, its all about the application of the definition and knowing how to apply it.

and the lecturer wasnt being helpful at all when she said that the basic which we are learning now is enough to kill us. im still not used to the freedom in tertiary education and i really misssss my secondary school life.


the economics teacher seemed kind of friendly but the thought of doing economics gives me a headaches. i hope it would be easy and better still if i love it.


school ended at very early today and i went for lunch with my classmates. i was rather surpised to know that the Ang Mo Kio Hub is within walking distance from the school. so after we had lunch, we walked around the mall before we headed home.


tmr is going to be a long day and i think i better read up my statistic notes again tonight :)

SCHOOL's STARTING..................

met up with binz today and we headed over to Bishan - Junction 8 cuz it has been way too long since we shopped there.

walked around aimlessly for a few hours. tried on clothes, bought my socks and pencil case while binz got a tee perfect for school. talked about a bit of mundane stuff and school, spend some time consoling binz as well and we had a bit of heart to heart talk.



then we went swensen and ate ICE-CREAM. its such a sin for me but i'll do it since binz feeling low and ice-cream surely lift one's spirits. i had a choco overload which is a new item on the menu while binz had a cookie summit. we ordered the fries as well.

its worth giving the choco overload a try. really yummy with the rich choco ice cream, a few cube of mud-pie cake (that's what the menu claim), alot of choco syrup topped with whipped cream(which i gave all to binz), a cherry and biscuit.

oh then after that i went over to my granny place in the evening to pay my gran a visit before sch starts. and also because my mum asked me to bring cake for my granny and my uncle's family. buzz around for an hour or two before i headed home.

ANYWAY, SCHOOL'S STARTING TMR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how time flies and im kind of enthu but also lazy about going to sch once more. what more i have to wake up early to take public transport to sch. amber said tht there will be a monday morning crowd tmr and i cant wait to see how crowded it will get. and how the kiasu will squeeze themselves into the cabin.

I CAN'T WAIT

NYP - SMB Orientation

so i went for my orientation yesterday and since its a two day orientation, it ended today.


yesterday was a really boring day because it's merely sitting down listening to all the briefing and learning all the lame cheers. especially during the morning when we were in the auditorium, all i did was like sat down with my class and i think i did not speak more than 10 sentences during that 4 hrs. i was lik busy sms-ing amber and benny. it was only during lunch time did we start to bond a little. i got to know a new girl, Geogina who spoke to me first. hahas


aannndd also my class has only 5 pathetic guys with like 2o over girls. haii, how pathetic can it get. were supposed to meet our class personal mentor(form teacher) but it was said that she's in LA. hmmm, so lucky :)

today is a much more fulfilling and enjoying day as it is team bonding day. so we played alot of games which is mostly wet-activities. its rather fun and i can say that i was rather enthusatic abt it because i even volunteered to take part. and there was one game which yr opponent can sabotage you and i got myself all wet as well. Wet as i might be, i really had alot of fun :)

then during the evening, we had a MR and MS freshie where there are 6 pairs of couple who took part. its more like a beauty paegent wher they have to pose and answer questions. its more like a "model answer period" because most of them gave perfect answers.
btw, freshie is a short-tern for freshman.


after walking around the school for two days, i realised that it is really huge. im starting to wonder if i can manage to find my lecture hall for my first lecture on monday. i think i'll have to be there early to look for my lecture hall.
hmmm, im wondering if i should meet some of my classmate before heading for class. but im still trying to get used to being with them. i might sound ridiculous saying for this but somehow i have a lil barrier in my heart, but mayb im still not used to it.
hope none of my classmates read this.

Yishun Swimming Complex

met up with dessy at around 4.3o and we headed over to Yishun Swimming Complex. i suppose both of us burned quite a lot of calories after swimming.

i swam like 8 to 1o laps and im very satisfied with myself today. hehe

binz, dessy, armanda and i headed down to bugis street today. amber was supposed to join us but due to some unexpected circumstances she was unable to make it.

so the four of us went ahead without her and we had our lunch in bugis junction before we went out to bugis street. amber also decided to join me for dinner after shopping with her mother.

so at bugis street, armanda bought two tee with those cute writing and i got myself a pretty dress. was kind of surprised at how nicely the dress fits on me, heehee.
armanda, dessy and binz also got themselves a pair of earring each.
wandered around while waiting for amber to arrive. then we decided to chill out at the bugis teenage cafe instead. i had a banana chocolate chip muffin and also shared some fries with armanda while binz got herself a drink.

but in the end binz knocked over her drink and almost knocked over the bottle of ketchup as well. dessy also had her phone slipped out of her hand like twice. looks like everyone got butter fingers today.

after tht we headed over to bugis junction and shopped around before we decided to go home. i also told amber not to come over as it was too late.

Hmm, we made plans to go singing on tuesday and i hope everyone will be able to go.

number 23

had a really small group gathering, though it was supposed to be a class gathering but nontheless just 11 of us turned up.

we watched a movie - number 23.

it's starring Jim Carrey who started reading a book and somehow or another he was cursed by the number 23. he started seeing the number everywhere, soon he realised that the number is related to his birthday, his address and all . then somehow or another he found out that he was the actual writer of tht book ....

a rather interesting show. worth the watch :)







after the show hazura went home. then lester amber and i followed andrea to alter her skirt in woodlands check-point. andrea amber and lester headed home while i went to look for the other group(binkiat, jiahao, jez, xiumin, dom and clinton) who was playing pool. so after a few round of pool, i had a urge to sing so i sort of instigated all of them to go KBOX.

recently, im trying to do 10 shots of different faces.

haha. but too bad clinton and xiumin couldnt make it. so the five of us me jez binkiat jiahao and dom went. we headed to Ang Mo Kio KBOX. we started off with a fast number to get the mood right before we pick other songs that we wanted to sing. i think that was the best KBOX experience because everyone was enthusiatic and were singing along with or without the mike.

they said i sang rather well. ahem, im not too sure but thanks :)

dom actually smiled to the camera. this should make the 8th wonders of the world.

i think what follows after the singing session should make my highlight of the day.. the 5 of us got into a cab and the driver who knew that taking 5 person is illegal but i guess he was desperate so he took us all. then he started to tell us that if there is a road block then two of us will have to be prepared to get down. somehow i got a feeling that there will be a roadblock. and guess what, there was indeed a road block and jez and dom got off. but somehow the police saw it and we were asked to present our particulars. i guess the driver got his points deducted but im not sure if he was fined. what im certain of was tht he did not stop the metre and we got like charged an extra of 5 dollars for no reason. my first encounter with a road block and it sure was exciting.

Muffins and Pilates

headed over to farouk's crib together with amber and andrea.

baked chocolate chip muffins. the first batch of muffins wasnt that successful because the temperture was too high and that's why it burnt a little. BUT it still taste alright :)

but once we got hold of the right temperture, the few other batch of muffins came out great. so while waiting for the muffins to bake we watch a lot of MTVs and farouk told me abit more about his personal trainer. the price sounds reasonable so im sort of considering. i tried his 5kg weights and i can barely lift it.



so after some weights training we watched a pilates video. And god, it was so obvious that those pilates exercises were the advanced stage and beginners like us could only watch the video in awe because we cant catch up or simply unable to do.
still andrea farouk and i were trying to do some of those exercise even though some of our postures were wrong.


then we headed over to andrea house and amber left shortly after she got her Heores CDs. so i stayed around in andrea's room and we racked her wardrobe thinking of how to match some of her clothes.

i also broaden my horizons as andrea tested me on some of her history topics. had dinner in her house and we watched "A Cinderella Story"

my once in a blue-moon grumble

I'M BORED BECAUSE LIFE IS GETTING BORING AND CAN SOMEONE KILL MY BOREDOM???? BECAUSE IF U DONT, ITS KILLING ME SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!



SO, i have been slacking at home for like say close to 5 months. and im starting to feel real bored. come to think of it, i did not do anything meaningful at all and i work for like 3 weeks and i quit earning only a pittance. then i began to slack at home spending tht pittance that i have earned. gosh, isnt it pathetic !!!!!!!!!!
im missing my sec. sch life and friends. sch have started for some and will be starting soon for most. and we will all start to drift away from each other because of our own work and individual commitment.

But nonetheless, im still very excited about my poly's life which will be starting in another 2 week. and that will end my sleeping late and waking up late syndrome. im very excited about orientation as well and i hope there isnt any bitchy people in my course.

enough of my grumbling, anyway i'll be going joggin later with weijie.
hmmm, at least im doing something about my body. have been going joggin for the past week and i hope i can keep it up.
