Past few days were like a roller-coaster ride; so many appointment & things to do, people to meet and events to attend. Mind you, the week is barely over and I'm so so so looking forward to Sunday (I even have my cash stashed away)!!!

Monday - East Coast Park

Tuesday

fucking busy day; was up and about at 9am to go to the bank to settle some stuff, then collected my CNCC form and paid for my air-ticket. Lunch was such a trouble; we walked for mile before we finally setttled for something palatable at Hock Lam Beef Noodles. But the noodle was worth the walk and search!!! We're such a dear friends who went in search for Han Xiang, not very successful but we found some really cool and pretty shops along the way.

Evening was back to yewtee for farouk's POP. It was funny to see him march but well well, he made it through another round in the army. So congratzzz

Dins at pastamania

The day then ended with dinner over at pastamania with manda&dessy before manda's departure on Friday. As usual, we talked and talked and talked and we never seem to run out of topics.

Wednesday

First thing first, my US visa's approved so horray!!! As Sean say; I should relaxxx and not be in a bundle of nerves anymore!!! fine.
Headed over to palawan beach with manda and amber for a mini-picnic at our secluded hideout.

my award-winning potato salad and amber's cocktail sausages

my pictures tells it all. I still have photos taken later in the evening with my HB loves at clarke quay. Will post later cuz photos are not in yet!!! till then

hellozzz there!

First two days of the holiday has been pretty awesome for me. Worked with rascals in the morning and then I get to have a lot of quality time with myself in the afternoon. I love afternoon crowd (not the people), but the environment. It isn't as chaotic as the weekend with so much distraction clouding your head.

No doubt that there was a time back then when I'll let myself into self-pity when I'm left alone or had no where to head to. But as I grow older, I truly appreciate the time I get to have to myself. I can think about issues better and with a more rational head as I stream through the lazy afternoon crowd.
I've never really given much thoughts to things such as the flowers swaying with the cooling breeze, a mother coo-ing her baby, teenagers flocking to the mall after school when I'm with a group. I have a higher tendency to take in details when alone, to think back and on other things which lend me a different perspective to life.
I'm not denying the obvious that we are all social creature but I think everyone deserves quality time with their inner-self. Not is it just a way of getting to your inner thoughts, it's a way of training yourself to be more independent.

Anyways, I'm back on my reading track. I've completed that cheesy romance story(love it, it had me smiling throughout. I know, typical!) and now I've got my nose into Jodi Picoult - Vanishing Acts, pretty mind-sucking with all the building suspense (I have yet to get to the root of the story) about friendship and kinship. I hope to finish it by this week so I can move on to my Jane Austen's stories. I have this other book about three best friends, okay adapted from the book:

... about growing up, moving on and keeping close to those who remind us of where we've been and where we still hope to go.

share my joy :)

Hello world,
I just completed 8 laps in the pool and it sure felt good.

Post-exams celebration this time round isn't as flamboyant as it used to be. maybe, recession hit us as well!!! hahaha.

Yesterday afternoon was just a simple meal and then we all headed over to Ben's place. THOMAS has goes really penetrating vocal, as well as all the swearing and screaming over those tiles(not just him, everyone who played). I was surprised no one complaint! hehe

While the rest of them enjoyed their mahjong, disney people (maybe just tyng &me, and the occasional sean) were pulling strands of hair off our scalp as we filled in those damn visa forms. Others just camped in front of the box and watched as music videos and variety show were played.

NAT!!! It was supposed to be candid!!!

Hehe!! Once again, THANK YOU BEN for loaning our yr home yesterday!!! (and i hope all goes well for tyng and especially Jo!!)

Its good to know that there is a bunch of friends you can rely/(clinch) on in school, makes workload and stress pale in comparision.

p.s happy valentine day. It's a blessing to love and be loved <3

OUHHHH LA LAAA

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT'S ALL OVER!!!!
MY WEEK LONG SUFFERING HAS FINALLY ENDED AT 10.42AM THIS MORNING!!!
It was supposed to end at 11am but I left early after completing my HRM paper and I swear my soul have already flown to godknows where the moment my butt parted the seat.
Papers so far are pretty manageable and I just have to give thanks to god because whatever I've studied for HRM has came out. It felt good to be able to use the computer and surf the net without any pressure that I may need to go back to my books anytime soon.

I'm glad that everything is starting to fall into place with the visa and hampton payment and schedule of appointment all done. Now I just have to go for the US Embassy Interview I hope it will be easy peasy & they will go easy on us!!!!

okay!!!! I'm going to go stream videos now!!

tick tock. tick tock

hey there. i know I'm not supposed to be here but holiday mood has totally set in after today's paper. Des&Attn is like the coolest shit I've ever sat for, it allowed so much room for flow of your creativity unlike the rest which are mere regugitation. lalalala! I was a happy girl after the paper!

I'm still at chp4 of MICE and this spells trouble especially when I dont even panic at the time constraint I'm facing. I should stop procastinating and get back to my books NOWWWW.

OOHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
FINANCE IS OVER!!!!
OVER!!! OVER!!!! OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IS THERE BETTER NEWS THAN THAT???
I DOUBT SO.

I felt as if this huge burden was lifted off my shoulders when I stepped out from the exam hall. It's time my calculator retired (hopefully disney don't require us to do acct or finance)
The ppr was bad, I was throwing numbers into the formula based on my instinct. Wasn't thinking right and I was even doing a countdown at the last few mins. How awesome is that???
I would be glad if I can just make it!! Now we are all pinning our hopes on renny cuz she's gonna bed m.yong soon!!! lol
But still, three more to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SICK

I hate how my body is always going against me; especially when there's some impt shit going on the next day.

Last year before retail ppr ( haha yes, i still rmb-ed), my head was up to some giddy-spell and I couldnt memorise or study. Had to sleep through the day before I felt better.
Now my stomach is on some sort of
strike again; instead of choosing to function to its optimal, it chose to hurt like fcuk. So i wasted two hrs lazing on my bed and taking some pills to nurse it when i could have used that 2 hrs on more impt things like studyinggg.

The freaking pain is still coming on and off.
Arrgg, bless me!
I can't afford to be sick, not noww, not for the next 8days ):

hello world.

mugging is the only thing i can think of right now; every single minute that I can utilise, I dedicate it all to my books piling up high. I haven't felt so motivated in a long time; sitting there compiling my notes.

Have been taking up morning relief even since after cny so I can have the time in the afternoon to do my revision. Going pretty well for me though I'm a little worried that I will be jeopardising my work but I think I'm handling it pretty well. HOWEVER I need some help with my freaking finance (as always), the bonds and equity is driving me to the wall. Gonna go get help from thomas soon!!! HELP ME THOM (I'll treat you to a drink!)

I'm trying to subdue him from disturbing us.

didn't work out. but i like this picture!

I've got alotttt more pictures but i think that's enough for this post. CNY wasnt exactly a bomb but it was nice to meet up with people and catch up. Thing is, if you've realised are all the junk we all unconsciously throw into our mouth and by the time you realized, it is when you feel too bloated to stomach anything. I swear i ate so much nonsense; bak-kua, the cookies and cake and chocolate, and there is still the steamboat tmr evening!!!! I'm so looking forward to it!!! hahaha.

was it really mere convenience? but it felt too real for me to disregard it
