Letters to Juliet
A little twist to your typical love story.

I love it because...
it is cheesy,
it was filmed in Verona which happens to be in romantic Italy,
Verona was where the play, Romeo and Juliet was based in,
the male lead is charming, handsome and hopelessly in love,
and most importantly, the take away from this movie...

A love story that came late did not turn out to be too late afterall ...
Never be too sure that it is too late unless you've tried!
Like the saying goes "Better to be late than never" and so I would say
"Better to have loved than never"!

Go watch it if you need your regular dose of romantic stories to re-ignite your belief in love. It always work like a charm, at least for me.

Sesame and Red Bean Paste with Rice Ball at Ah Chew Dessert Store on Tues with Andrea after my visit to SMA. It looks like I'm going to be frequenting this dessert store pretty often from now on. ..
There seemed to be a lot of cafe and restaurant choices so I think I'm good at the food department. Plenty of opportunities to explore and hunt for good food in Bugis...

I'm so nervous about what is going to happen tomorrow. It's happening so fast and I need to force myself to be mentally prepared.

I've rarely say this but... OH MY FUCKING GOD BLESS ME!!!

Good night.

It was an absolutely lovely & carefree meet-up that is nothing short of nonsensical talk, good and occasionally chao-tao food, cracking up jokes and talking about the good ol' days.
Oh, and spot the new boyfriends!

The mussels with mozarella, topped with a twist of lemon was the highlight!

Towards the later part of the evening, two of Sarah's friends came and they literally cooked up a storm for us. Greatly appreciated and felt kind of bad since they were guests. So thank you to Ken and Ziyang, even though they might not see it but I know Sarah will convey ;)

I can't wait for the next meetup already :)))

At age 20, I wonder if this is another quarter-life crisis I am going through. I am trying to find the bridge that will connect me nicely to the next phase after my poly studies. Some people seems to find it just right and so certain about their direction that it frightens me.
To study, they know what they want to study and at where.
To work, they dive into typing out the perfect resume and sending it to potential employers.

I look up at these people with awe, impressed with how they know what they want. I then look at all the qualms that lay out before me. Or rather, all the qualms I have and questions about each and every path I may choose to take. Many a times, I wonder if these are stepping stones to help me make a wiser choice or mere stumbling blocks that hinder my advancement. Sometimes it may be better not to question and make a dash for it! It's not just towards my studies but every other thing about my life. I always make sure I'm safe and protected somehow..
I tread my life with too much trepidation, rules and restriction.
Like now.

I chanced upon this on http://www.postsecret.com and I thought it was really funny.
She must be a really huge Jane Austen's fan to say that her reads beat sex. I don't know about the latter but I'm definitely an avid fan of Jane Austen.
I really want to go visit her centre at the Bath to wipe up some Darcy souvenirs and know more about her. ohhhhh... Besides, I've heard that the Bath is such a romantic and charming place.. Best of both world, old-world literacy meet great romance in a charming place. I might just meet my Mr Darcy there.
Okay, too far-fetched.

I have pictures from the weekend so check back!!
nightz!

B.C. Before Carrie

This movie IS.THE.BOMB!
I.LOVE.IT !!
I know there is little plot.
I know this is nothing short of an extremely superficial movie, propagating designer labels.
I also know I'm risking being called an airhead because I was gushing throughout 90% of the movie.
BUT.. SO WHAT ?!!?!?
I can afford 2.5 hours of my time transfixed in a world of glamor and glitz, exclusive designer clothings, salivating that walk-in closet in a dream apartment set in New York City. Then fast forward me to a setting in the Middle East, where the definition for extravagant is never best used.

If you agree with what I said, then go watch that movie!!
If you call me superficial, that's too bad. It's the world we live in...
