warm kisses.

ohhhhhh, it felt so good to be at the beach after so long and friday's weather was just perfect for chilling out at siloso.

All you need is a mat, a drink, a book/deck of cards, a handy camera with a couple of girlfriends and you can just waste your afternoon away under the lovely blue sky.

Close your eyes and enjoy the warm breeze against your body; awakening every cell and your hair flying in tune with the wind. Just ignore the banter of others and listen to the waves hitting the shore, current after current. Open your eyes and you'll feel instantly rejuvenated, you might even get a glow off your cheeks at the end of the day.
Just describing it makes me want to visit the beach again, anyway I got pictures....

moments.

15th dec. twilight fever

met farouk for lunch and then twilight-ed. shopped around the entire orchard(i think we covered every mall) but he still couldn't get anything he liked, while i just stood around and watched. nth seems to entice me and only the packet of Famous Amos cookies in my hand had my attention, guessed i wasn't in a shopping mood that day.

16th dec. projects
.......

17th dec. projectss and twilight for the second time

YESS, i watched it again and i think it just get better at the second time because i know what's gonna happen at each scene and which parts they have extracted from the book to be filmed. so this time i was looking at all the cast's expression and listening more carefully to what they're saying (esp. when its bella and edward scene) and really soaking it in the feeling of each scene with my heart.

i wont say the movie is awesome because it is indeed too fragmented and i think the director focused too much on bella and edward thus she didnt elaborate much on the other cast(esp. their special ability). Not an ideal movie for people who didnt read the book because you would be lost. but if you did read and is a fan of Robert Pattinson, i dont think you would regret watching.

18th dec bugis. museum. orchard

farouk was so excited to try the Chinese desert, but apparently i don't think tdy's choice is authentic enough. we should go try the various kind of paste; peanut, sesame, yam, red-bean and the rice-ball with the filling. yummay!!!!!

haji lane.
i absolutely love this place; every shop you enter and every street you turn to has its own character and 'individuality', even the graffiti on the wall and the restaurants is unique. the other shops along the street are more touristy but they do have pretty good accessories like the bags, scarfs and all the necklace, charms and earing.

this pair of shoe totally held my attention the moment i set sight on it; the design and colour is so pretty

and these 60s inspired skirts. i can totally imagine myself in it with a white loose blouse (tucked in maybe) and maybe a hairband or scarf. awesome, maybe I'll get it someday..

a tastefully-designed shop, you won't want to leave the moment you enter. they have too many interesting details and things to keep you hanging around.

thanks for humoring me, farouk!

aren't these butterfly beautiful???

met sarah,G, Khrisha and yenzhen for an artsy-fartsy moment at the Arts Museum; but I really suck when it comes to appreciating art pieces so i shall skip tht part but the place is awesome for photo-taking. crazy-camwhoring moment! (SARAH, I WANT PHOTOSSS)

town is all about sale and crazy retailer trying to snatch every dollar from the consumer, i see 30% here and 50% there. mind-blowing!!!!

finished my christmas shopping and i got two top; one from springfield and one from GAP(yes they were having sale and i am one of the victim). I havent shopped for so long and it felt good to swip my card. hahha crazy, i know!!!! farouk is worse and i shall not go on.

it was a great day out, finally a day away from sch and project-meeting. meeting amber and manda for a visit to the beach tmr and twilight(third time for me if we're watching).

so till then, loves :)))))))))

swoon over robert pattinson

hahaha!!!!! i know right; why am i back to this topic (and why are you guys subjected to reading this) but you dont have a choice, so read on....

there is always this wave of emotions that comes back each time i gawk at his pic; his tousled chestnut-coloured hair, icy blue eyes that communicates and that sexy, mysterious, devilish smile (YES, I LOVE HIS SMILE). too bad if you disagrees but there is no doubt abt his alluring draw; screams from his fans are enough to wake a dead man and generate enough energy to start-up an engine.

the twilight obsession is coming back as the show-date draw nearer. Anyway I'm going to catch the twilight sneaks tmr with farouk at cineleisure and I hope tics wont snatch out too early. YAY.YAY.YAY.YAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i hope i'll remember to breathe when I see him on the big screen tomorrow!!!!

hahaha. i got to go write my 450-word essay to impress the director and to catch "LOVE ACTUALLY" on chn5 later. so till then!!!!!

it's a love/hate thing about festive occasions

You know there's a saying that goes "when going gets tough, the tough goes shoppingggg". Very true, retail therapy does wonder to my tired soul. but now, i cant bear the idea of wandering into stores, gawking and lusting after those clothes when my bank statement absolutely forbids me. I'm freaking broke after getting my laptop and I feel bad about asking too much unnecessary money from folks to satisfy my materialistic needs because they're going to be paying a bomb for my US trip. It doesn't help that it is the festive season and there are so many celebrations planned out.
It would have been more comforting if I am successful at getting a job, i never knew it was so hard to get a part time job. grrr

So I am currently at this stage whereby there are so many events and deadlines to meet, and my brain is forcing itself to keep up with it. I'm beginning to get much more lethargic and irritated and I can't seems to muster enough willpower to finish up my work nowaday. even now, I am stuck with my financal anaysis shit. I wonder if it's the issue lies with the subject or with myself.

I feel so moody and grumbly about everything and it is so hard to laugh; and I meant a hearty laugh. I want to laugh so hard that I can tear and feel as though my stomach is about to rip apart, to laugh till my head feel light. it has been too long since I felt this way...

My current source of relief is to immerse myself in a story, their life seems so much better than mine. Just finished "Remember Me" and I looking for another book to distract me. ohhh, there's also the upcoming "Twilight" movie to look forward to.. that's not too bad a thing, i guess.
