It was an absolutely lovely & carefree meet-up that is nothing short of nonsensical talk, good and occasionally chao-tao food, cracking up jokes and talking about the good ol' days.
Oh, and spot the new boyfriends!

The mussels with mozarella, topped with a twist of lemon was the highlight!

Towards the later part of the evening, two of Sarah's friends came and they literally cooked up a storm for us. Greatly appreciated and felt kind of bad since they were guests. So thank you to Ken and Ziyang, even though they might not see it but I know Sarah will convey ;)

I can't wait for the next meetup already :)))

At age 20, I wonder if this is another quarter-life crisis I am going through. I am trying to find the bridge that will connect me nicely to the next phase after my poly studies. Some people seems to find it just right and so certain about their direction that it frightens me.
To study, they know what they want to study and at where.
To work, they dive into typing out the perfect resume and sending it to potential employers.

I look up at these people with awe, impressed with how they know what they want. I then look at all the qualms that lay out before me. Or rather, all the qualms I have and questions about each and every path I may choose to take. Many a times, I wonder if these are stepping stones to help me make a wiser choice or mere stumbling blocks that hinder my advancement. Sometimes it may be better not to question and make a dash for it! It's not just towards my studies but every other thing about my life. I always make sure I'm safe and protected somehow..
I tread my life with too much trepidation, rules and restriction.
Like now.

I chanced upon this on http://www.postsecret.com and I thought it was really funny.
She must be a really huge Jane Austen's fan to say that her reads beat sex. I don't know about the latter but I'm definitely an avid fan of Jane Austen.
I really want to go visit her centre at the Bath to wipe up some Darcy souvenirs and know more about her. ohhhhh... Besides, I've heard that the Bath is such a romantic and charming place.. Best of both world, old-world literacy meet great romance in a charming place. I might just meet my Mr Darcy there.
Okay, too far-fetched.

I have pictures from the weekend so check back!!
nightz!

B.C. Before Carrie

This movie IS.THE.BOMB!
I.LOVE.IT !!
I know there is little plot.
I know this is nothing short of an extremely superficial movie, propagating designer labels.
I also know I'm risking being called an airhead because I was gushing throughout 90% of the movie.
BUT.. SO WHAT ?!!?!?
I can afford 2.5 hours of my time transfixed in a world of glamor and glitz, exclusive designer clothings, salivating that walk-in closet in a dream apartment set in New York City. Then fast forward me to a setting in the Middle East, where the definition for extravagant is never best used.

If you agree with what I said, then go watch that movie!!
If you call me superficial, that's too bad. It's the world we live in...

I had my sweet treat just last friday when I was out in town with my mom. Given the myriad ice-cream choices out in the market, it's almost impossible for me to confidently say I had the best ice-cream last weekend. But I have to say Marvellous Creme does make pretty good ice-cream and the waffles cup is freaakkinng nice, so crispy and favourful. HAHA!

I think this is their new ice-cream waffle/sandwich. Hokkaido Fresh Caramel & Rich Milk was my next best alternative because I think I would have preferred to try the hazelnut and praline favour which was sold out. BUMMMERRR!!

It was a good day out with my mom despite the fact that I had to navigate through the crowd at Robinsons while she do her purchases. The best thing about going out with my mom is that she never fails to get me ice-cream treat knowing that I have a sweet tooth.

It was an awesome weekend and here comes Monday...
so till then,
Peis <3

Class of 2010

Yupp! Officially graduated yesterday morning and I'm now a proud diploma holder :)

HB loves <3

Together with Mr Choo

So the graduation officially draws an end to my polytechnic studies. Now, it's up to me to embark on the next phase of my life; work or university. There is no longer a definite path that is stipulated for me to take and my future is solely on my shoulders. A little daunting but I'm definitely excited about what that awaits. May the almighty bless me and all my friends from above.

Last but not least, this three years has been a blast.

I witness something really hilarious and I felt the obligation to share the joke!

SO! I was on the way home in the train after my mundane day.
There was this guy who had himself standing so close to the doors that I swear he could kiss it if he pout his lips. As usual, I gave a disgusted look at how desperate he is to get out of the train first.
HELLOOOO.. Take a chill pill, its the end of the day already....

So when the train pulled up at Admiralty station, I was waiting to see that incredulous dart out of the door to the escalator.
To my bewilderment, he did dart out of the door but only to stand aside making space for others including myself to alight before he enter the train again! I know, OMG, WTH -.-

If only you saw my look of disdain! What was wrong with this guy???? Standing so close to the door when he's not even alighting...

FYI; the train was not crowded AT ALL that he needs to plaster himself at the door to make room for others. Oh well, I was amused.
Do you share the joke with me as well??

Pictures from perth will come up later.. I'm kidda lazyy...
Weekend coming up soon, that's really fast...
