I apologise for such a late post, but I'm here all safe and sound in Washington DC. The flight was the looonnnnngessstttt thing ever, eating and sleeping then eat again and then drift back to sleep again. My butt was burning and my tailbone was aching like shit but I've made it here.

This place has been awesome so far; the people with their ever-welcoming smile, the broad street, charming building with a story to tell, the wonderful chilly weather and of course the company I'm having here is fantastic. What more, the cherry blossom is blooming now and its really gorgeous!

Washington DC was all about trips to the Art, Science, History and Natural Museum which was nice since it was the focal point of the state where everyone converge and you get to people-watch (i do that alot!). American food is great obviously since its all calories laden with cheese and meat and whatnot. They're considerate to get us Asian restaurant but its a little awful since its either too sweet or salty.
Colonial Williamsburg, today was beautiful as we leave for the more rural side of the country with sprawling greenery for an educational trip.

Alright! i'm going to bed now!! Hampton University tomorrow morning and till then.

HELLLOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gosh! I'm like leaving for the airport in another 2hrs time and damn, I'M SO SCARED!!!
Scared of the unknown, scared about luggage loss, scared about the flight, scared about my incapability to handle my two 29inch luggages. I wont be able to let my fear rest till I've safely arrived in Orlando, unscathed!

I dont know how to describe my feeling right now cuz its too jumbled and overwhelming. I have so many wonderful friends who have already started this journey with me with all the meetup and surprises!!! A big wow-wow and thanksssss!!!!!!!!!!!
Just met Weijie and we were talking, he is freaking excited for me and I hope I shared that excitement too. Whatever, it will get better once I'm there.

He made this really lovely notebook for me(see pic later) and I got the eye-mask which I requested!!!! HAHAHA!!! THANKSSS
and its not bimbotic lor, it will come in handy.

And as expected they're engaging in RETAIL THERAPY!!!!!!
That's one factor that luring me over!!! I CANT WAIT TO HIT THE MALL!!

those two setans gave up on DDR and joined us.

Oh btw. sahaa, G, thom and myself went to send renee and HY off to Orlando and damn, I'm scareddd!!! Am talking to tyng now, she's making me all excited with the travel and shopping!!! argg, shutup! i have to settle my packing first, im like bringing alot of clothes and that can't be it!!!

ANDDD we've just check the current temp at Washington DC: 48 F and I was so clueless thinking it should be quite hot!! guess what? It freaking 8 degrees la!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY LORDDD!!!! HOW HOW HOW??? If it doesnt change toward the end of next week, then Im bringing a coat. Fuck that and I think Im gonna need my long john... real badd :((((

It has been a mundane week and I got a complain because I was reading when I'm supposed to be watching those kids. whatever!!
My darling uncle drove me and mom around so I can buy all my shit ass nonsense. So basically, I've loaded my luggage with all necessities tdy at GIANT and DAISO. Did i mention I bought a pair of heels? yeap, I did. hehe!

Past few days were like a roller-coaster ride; so many appointment & things to do, people to meet and events to attend. Mind you, the week is barely over and I'm so so so looking forward to Sunday (I even have my cash stashed away)!!!


Monday - East Coast Park

Tuesday

fucking busy day; was up and about at 9am to go to the bank to settle some stuff, then collected my CNCC form and paid for my air-ticket. Lunch was such a trouble; we walked for mile before we finally setttled for something palatable at Hock Lam Beef Noodles. But the noodle was worth the walk and search!!! We're such a dear friends who went in search for Han Xiang, not very successful but we found some really cool and pretty shops along the way.

Evening was back to yewtee for farouk's POP. It was funny to see him march but well well, he made it through another round in the army. So congratzzz

The day then ended with dinner over at pastamania with manda&dessy before manda's departure on Friday. As usual, we talked and talked and talked and we never seem to run out of topics.

Wednesday

First thing first, my US visa's approved so horray!!! As Sean say; I should relaxxx and not be in a bundle of nerves anymore!!! fine.
Headed over to palawan beach with manda and amber for a mini-picnic at our secluded hideout.
